Effective October 15, 2026. Plain language, because the tools are free and the deal is simple.
These terms apply when you use Wedding Budget Lab at weddingbudgetlab.com (“we”, “us”, “the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What the site is
Wedding Budget Lab offers free wedding budget calculators, cost estimators, a planning timeline and articles. You don’t need an account to use any of them.
Estimates, not advice
- Every figure on the site is an estimate based on published industry studies and adjusted for location. Real prices depend on your date, city, guest count and the vendors you choose.
- Nothing on the site is financial, legal or professional advice. Always get written quotes from vendors before you commit money.
- We work hard to keep figures accurate and dated, but we can’t guarantee they are complete, current or error-free. If you find a mistake, tell us.
Using the site
You may use the tools and read the guides for your own personal, non-commercial planning. Please don’t:
- copy or republish our articles, data tables or tools as your own;
- scrape the site in bulk, or overload or interfere with how it works;
- use the contact or email forms to send spam, or submit someone else’s email address without their permission.
Quoting a short excerpt with a link back to the source page is fine.
Emails from us
If you ask us to email your budget plan, spreadsheet or checklist, we send that one email. You join our mailing list only if you click the confirmation link in it. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link. Our privacy policy explains what we store.
Links to other sites
We link to retailers and other websites we think are useful. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, products, prices or policies.
Our content
The site’s text, design, data compilations and code belong to Wedding Budget Lab, except where a source is credited. Figures from third-party studies remain the property of their publishers and are cited on the pages that use them.
No warranty
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We may change, pause or remove any tool or page at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Wedding Budget Lab is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its estimates — including budgeting decisions, vendor deposits or contracts. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
